The Amazing Race Asia 4 - Misibis Bay Pit Stop

It was a privilege to be invited and have attended the 'The Amazing Race Asia 4' viewing party at Greenbelt 3 last October 28, 2010. It was a full day for me but I was instantaneously relaxed when we started watching TARA Season 4 in National Sports Grill.

It became more exclusive as we were joined by the Philippine Team participants. Around 8pm, we started watching the Philippine leg when they went to visit several familiar places like lignon hill, Mount Mayon, Cagsawa ruins and the famous Misibis bay.

Water is one of the most essential Elements a person needs in order to
survive. Recently, news abut water shortage has been bothering the
entire metro - I guess this is because this year, our country has not
experienced much rains compared to the previous years. Dams are still
in its critical level and our rainy season is almost over. How do we
help conserve water, to be able to survive next year's El Niño?

Something Different to Give This Christmas

Written by: my undisclosed guest blogger

Christmas is fast approaching, people are getting busy once again as they prepare for their parties and family gatherings. Malls are starting to be full of people as shoppers look for the perfect gift to give their loved once this season. I must admit I classify myself as a last-minute shopper – not because I barely had the time to look for gifts, but rather its taking me a while to choose the perfect gift to give! Recently as I roamed around malls, there were a few gift ideas that I’ve seen, which I think would be great gifts this coming yuletide season.

City Delivery or Quick Delivery - Food Delivery Service in Manila

A couple of weeks back, I tried ordering via the 2121212 hotline of Quick Delivery. I ordered from Bagoong Club in Tomas Morato, QC. Everything went smooth. The food wasn't hot though when it arrived but I was expecting that so, it was ok. The bagoong rice wasn't also as tasty compared to when served in the actual restaurant.

I paid using credit card and delivery was 10%. It was just like the regular service charge when dining in the restaurant.

Earlier, I decided to try City Delivery. It was around 4:30pm and it was too early for dinner. Wanting to blog about both services today, I opted to order some snacks.

Huawei e5830 Setup: Password Protect your Mobile WiFi (MiFi)

Congratulations on your MiFi! You now have the mobility to move from one place to the other, at the same time, bringing your 3G broadband connection anywhere you go!

It's very convenient to have one! I no longer need to subscribe to different broadband subscription just to access internet from my different gadgets. Believe me, most people nowadays carry at least 1 to 3 gadgets equipped with WiFi but not all is equipped with a 3G capability.

For instance, an Apple iPad without 3G versus an Apple iPad with 3G has a price difference of around Php 5,700.00 in the US. Here in Manila, the price difference averages around 7,000 pesos! Rather than getting the 3G version, I suggest you get the WiFi only version then buy one of the Huawei e5830 MiFi here in Manila, Philippines.

Not that we are selfish but, for security reasons, we need to password protect our MiFi connection. This blog post will teach you how to password protect your Huawei e5830 MiFi.

It’s not all about what you buy, but also its worth isn’t it?

Established 25 years ago, HMR Philippines has become a favorite of bargain hunters, your one-stop shop for office, household and industrial merchandises that are sold for at least 20-30% below market price.

Tips to Own a Different Cellphone Every Week

I've been buying and selling ever since 2002. I started this hobby of mine when I sold my Nokia 8210 at a nice price and after that, I've been craving for the feeling of buying and selling something. It's fulfilling.

Let me tell you what fueled me and the lessons I learned while doing this hobby.

I was just about to graduate high school and I love gadgets but of course, I didn't have the money to buy myself a mobile phone every week or every 2 weeks. What I did was, I bought the phone I like, use it and if I'm tired of it, sell it with a small profit. Imagine the experience of having a new mobile phone every few weeks -- an experience any gadget lover would want and earning by doing what you like.

6 ways to be Eco-friendlier

There have been a lot of campaigns in saving the environment. One of which is actually reducing and re-using. Every single day, we are said to produce tons of waste that harm the environment to the extent that plastic bags will have to be charged in supermarkets this November. Let me give you some instances how we, in many little ways, could greatly save our mother earth.

Keep an Eco-Bag handy at all times
For those ladies who are a certified shopaholic, always keep an eco-bag with you. Imagine shopping for 10 items in 8 different boutiques, you will be saving a lot of plastic and paper bags with your re-usable bag! I’ve actually given my girlfriend one last year (not that she’s a shopaholic) and it has greatly lessened her paper bag trash every time she goes shopping.Check out SM Eco Bags. They are cool, chic and of course, eco friendly.

Eat more fruits and vegetables
Let’s admit it, vegetables are the last thing in the list you would want to eat. When there’s nothing left to eat, it is only then that we munch on these leafy vegetables. At a very young age, we should learn to start balancing our diet or better yet, being more inclined to eating fruits and vegetables compared to meat. It is also a good practice if we include vegetables in our children’s every day meals so they get used to it at a very young age.  Daily vitamin intake is also recommended - read this

4 Basic Tips in Taking Care of your Relationship

This article is written by a guest blogger who's close to me. Let's keep his/her identity a secret as of the moment. :)

I consider relationships as one of the most important things in a person’s lifetime. Whether its family, friends or with a special someone - it is important that we take good care of these as they are one of the greatest gifts God has given us. I’m no good in relationships as I myself am learning from the everyday experience that life brings but here are some tips on how to have a healthier relationship with your special someone.

 http://www.sxc.hu/pic/m/g/go/gokoroko/1241104_old_phone_2.jpg
Communicate
Communication is one of the most important secrets of a healthy relationship. Let us not assume that our partners know everything about us and how we would react on things. When you feel uncomfortable that your boyfriend hangs out with his lady officemates, let him know how you feel about the situation. When your lady hitches with a guy friend to and from work, let her know that you feel awkward about the situation. Again they wouldn’t know what’s running in you mind until you tell them and explain to them what you’re really feeling inside.
