Southern Comfort: Comfort Food from World Bangers

What's the first thing that comes into your mind when you hear comfort food?

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/4435/cheftoniomanilabloggerp.jpg

Here's my top 3 comfort food:
1. Juicy burger
2. Japanese food
3. Hotdog sandwiches

I'm not a chocolate lover so it's not there. Majority of the people I know have chocolates, ice cream and pizzas as their comfort food.

This time, I got a Southern Comfort. Boy! I think I should make a hotdog sandwich blog already!

Otterbox Defender for iPhone 3G, 3GS and iPhone 4

Update: Otterbox boutique store NOW OPEN in SM North Edsa Annex!

I like cases and phone accessories. My first ever mobile phone has an interchangeable keypad design.

But more than that, cases also evolved to be either more functional and stylish. In fact, this Otterbox can be both. How can Otterbox protect your precious gadget? Check out this video I saw from the internet.

Snack Time at Rockwell: World Banger's Pinoy Pride

http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/4981/edsa25th.jpg
It's been 25 years since the EDSA revolution happened! Some kids don't even know what that is. What I'm sure of is, they are happy to have a 1-day break from school today! Correct me if I'm wrong. We Filipinos are the first to do this kind of people power revolution to topple a dictatorship.

A little history for the kiddos born after '86.
Edsa Revolution Timeline

Reading the timeline made me think I was watching 24. All that history made me hungry! :)

Dropped by Rockwell to grab a snack and decided to go to World Bangers. I've decided to try all their hotdog sandwiches -- not in one seating, okay? One at a time.

Oh and by the way, 'Bangers' is the british slang term for 'hotdogs'. Sosyal :) Other than that, this store is owned by Pinoys so the taste suites the Filipino palate well.

Shanghai, China ( Source )

Have you been to Shanghai? Hong Kong? Japan? or any other developed countries? If yes, you would have known how convenient it is to use their public transport. If they are developed countries and we are developing, shouldn't we follow some of the effective things they did? It's a way for us to develop faster, rather than experiment on our own. Why not learn from the mistakes of others and pick up the lessons?

When the Apple iPad first came out, it never even thought about getting one. I was even saying, "It just looks like a big iPod Touch. I have an iPhone already, why would I get that?" Lo and behold! 4 months after the official US release, I got myself one of those shiny in demand gadgets!

I'm going to tell you first hand that the iPad and iPod Touch / iPhone experience is far from each other. Each has their own advantages and disadvantages. One thing's for sure though -- I'm using my iPad 80% of the time and finally, I used my iPhone as a, well, phone for the first time this year. (for the past few years, I've only inserted a data sim which can't call or send SMS)

So, what's the best business applications for me for the Apple iPad? Here's my top 12 must have business apps that's extremely useful: (In no particular order)

Which Mobile Broadband Plan from Globe is for you?

Before, life without a mobile phone was normal. Now, it's now. Guess what.. now, I can't even leave home without my mobile internet broadband! In fact, a research firm called Frost & Sullivan released a study that said that Mobile Broadband will dramatically increase here in the Philippines over the next 5 years!

I've been a Globe mobile broadband user ever since it came out 3 to 4 years back. I was subscribed to the 2,000-peso plan that provides unlimited data surfing. It was a very cool thing to have a 3g dongle in coffee shops before. Now, I can't believe how fast and cheap it is, at the same time!
