I'm not a big fan of plays and musicals although I remember watching some like Cats, Beetle Juice and some others I can't remember. Last night, me and my fiance went our for an evening of R&R and we went to watch the Sound of Music musical in Resorts World Manila.

How was your day/date yesterday? Might it be Valentine's Day or Singleness awareness day for you, I'm sure that yesterday had a certain impact towards you. For us, I made a reservation at around 8pm, Tomas Morato area and the traffic in that area was just terrible! Whether a couple or not, this definitely caused stress to everyone living near this area or any other areas with restaurants. It's seldom that I experience that kind of traffic around Tomas Morato area and I literally have to drive and squeeze my way in and out, in between cars, just to get to my destination. Surprisingly, the restaurant I went to was not that cramped.

Lemuria - An out of town date in Manila

I try to bring my Fiance to some place new every year on our Anniversary. Because of our busy schedule, I need to look for a place that is new, relaxing, romantic, exclusive, has good food and is NEAR. That's the problem -- Near (My criteria). It's hard to find a place that fits the "near" criteria because most restaurants that would have good food would either be crowded thus, making it less relaxing. There are romantic restaurants but they are sometimes far. Good food is very subjective so I'll just let you be the judge as I share with you what we tried out that night.

Update your Nokia to Symbian Belle OS (Tutorial)

I set an alarm this morning just so I won't forget the release of the Symbian Belle today. I immediately checked Nokia if the update will be really up today so earlier, I tried updating my Nokia N8 over-the-air. Thing is, it didn't detect the new updates. I decided to download the latest Nokia Ovi Suite 3.3.86. (Click here to download) or if you have installed the Nokia Suite, you can just update your existing Nokia Ovi Suite.

Symbian Belle is Nokia's newest OS update for existing mobile phones like (Compatible with) Nokia N8, C6, C7, E6, E7, X7 and Nokia 500. It will come as the default OS for the upcoming Nokia 700 and Nokia 701.

Updating to Symbian Belle is very easy. To take you through the process, I took some screenshots to guide you in updating.
Note: Make sure your phone is fully charged and your laptop has full battery/ PC has UPS in case of power outages to prevent complications. Prevention is always better than cure. Also make sure that you back-up every thing you don't want deleted just to be sure.

Last weekend, we were lucky to have experienced a free Coke day. Our parents usually say "Walang libre sa mundo" (There's no such thing as a freebie in this world). Well, I'm glad that I have a proof to counter that statement because the president for happiness proclaimed that free Coke be given on February 4, 2011! It was also all over the news that more than 8 million free Cokes were given away. Imagine that? There's such a thing as a freebie!

Eneloop Harmolattice Rechargeable Battery now in the Philippines!

Batteries are essential for some of us, either for work or daily living. One pack of non-rechargeable branded AA's could easily reach 200 pesos! It's costly and impractical unless really needed and for emergency purposes. There are cheaper kinds like Eveready but personally, I wouldn't advice you to use Eveready batteries. They might be cheaper but they are only good for a short while -- very short life. I even bought the highest end of Eveready and it was still not good enough. For everything else, the more economical way is to use rechargeable batteries.

When I was just starting photography, the recommended rechargeable AA battery to use in my external flash, according to my veteran photographer friends was Eneloop. That's when I first tried out Eneloop. From then on, I only buy Eneloop because they are consistent and reliable. I haven't done any professional testing on them but the results are always satisfactory that I also recommend them to others and personally use it on everything that I own that needs batteries.
