Like the yearly pyrolympics show, this is one of the annual events that people look forward to. It's known to be a weekend for everything that flies! I remember going here a few years back and it was packed! Better go there early as a lot of people will surely be there as well.
Happening on February 12 to 15, 2015 at the Philippine Air Force ADAC Hangar in Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, 4 full days of flying activities await spectators. From aerobatic exhibitions to sky diving to para gliding and even aviation formation, it's something worth your time and travel.
Highlight of this event is of course, the hot air balloons. This year, a total of 32 hot air balloons coming from all over the world will be joining the 19th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. From the yearly seen Old MacDonald farm to the cute Maximus the Beagle dog, you won't run out of interesting things to see. They fly out early in the morning around 6am and pump the balloons up again late in the afternoon (around 5:45).
It won't be called a 'fiesta' if the mood on the ground would be boring. There are car drifting exhibitions, there's a flea market called "fly" market, OPM bands playing, a mini zoo, and on the 3rd night (which is Valentines Day), a spectacular display of fireworks!
Entrance ticket is affordable at only P300 each. Ticket funds will go to PIHABF foundation scholarship fund granting scholarship to deserving underprivileged students pursuing a career in aviation. It's two birds in one stone! You enjoy and you help!
Tickets are available at Ticketnet outlets, the venue itself and the Fiesta's official website.
