How to Watch The Pacquiao vs Mayweather Fight of the Century

One of the most memorable Pacquiao fights for me was the Pacquiao vs Bradley bout. It was not because that Pacquiao lost that time. Nor was it because it was a "controversial" loss leading Bradley to win by split points decision. It was because that was my wedding day. Thank God the fight was done before the ceremony started otherwise, people's mind would have wandered of into deep abyss on that day. I didn't watch the fight that day for obvious reasons.

Pacquiao: Uniting Filipinos?

Congratulations to people's champ, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao for his latest latest K.O. which resulted to his victory.

As I watched his fights' live streaming yesterday, I knew after the first 2 rounds that he would definitely bring home the bacon. As Diaz said, he was no match for Pacman's speed. He lost and yet, he was still a sport. That is the right way to lose. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

But, is Pacman really uniting Filipinos? I don't think so. Those who are enemies remain enemies and those terrorists continue on with their bombings. They just have one common denominator and that is, watching the fight. So, is watching the Pacquiao fight uniting Filipinos? No. We just love to watch him fight but that doesn't mean that everyone is united. United in watching TV? Yes. Unity amongst us? No.

Congratulations to Manny Pacquiao anyway. He did a great job!

After elections... more...

After Pacman was defeated by his opponent in General Santos City, he conducted a personal audit and found out that he hd spent more than 140 million pesos in election related expenses but was still defeated by his diminutive political rival.

A local thrift bank and two other branches of manila based commercial banks reported that they are having difficulties servicing their clients, because their clients panicked by the sudden withdrwal of Pacmans deposit.

There was a reported deal for Pacquiao to spend from out of his personal pockets, with the principals pledging to reimburse every centavo spent at the end of the campaign period.

Meanwhile, a member of Team Pacquiao said it was possible that the superstar boxer did lose that much money in his attempt to become a congressman.

“The P140-million plus Manny lost, [that] could be true,” a Pacquiao confidante said. “Definitely, it’s not lower than P100 million.”

One instance relating to how Pacquiao was duped is how two operators charged the boxer P500,000 but never worked for him after being paid.

The operators said they would help Pacquiao in his campaign but would only do so if Pacquiao paid them the initial sum. Pacquiao never heard from them again. He later found out that they were already working in his rival’s camp.

Thats the reason why he did not win and if ever im a voter there, thats the reason why i wont vote for him. he is a boxer, he doesnt have political experience yet. He had already been fooled by two operators amounting to 1 million pesos. how else would he deal with those people who take advantage of politicians or co-politicians?

Pacquiao

Manny Pacquiao’s mind is now clearly focused on his battle for the lone congressional district of South Cotabato and his efforts to oust incumbent Rep. Darlene Antonino-Custodio, who is seeking her final term. Both his lawyer Franklin “Jeng” Gacal and close friend and confidant Rex “Wakee” Salud, claim Pacquiao’s campaign is picking up and his victory over Jorge Solis last Sunday had allegedly sent some of the supporters of Custodio lining up to join Pacquiao’s camp...

If you read further from that link, it mentions that Pacquiao can earn $5-million purse in every fight, not counting pay-per-view income. Why does he want to run for a governement position then? I think he is not stupid enought not to know that govt pays only very small. More, if compared to his earning potential. If you can read my previous posts, i still strongly dont agree of him going to run for position.
