The Commission on Elections (Comelec) in North Cotabato on Sunday denied discrepancies in Certificates of Canvass (CoCs) from North Cotabato, describing them as mere clerical errors.
The National Board of Canvassers deferred on Thursday the tabulation of COCs from North Cotabato after opposition lawyers claimed there were discrepancies there in the number of votes for their senatorial candidates.
These are just human errors and we had addressed the issue for the possible resumption of COC canvassing from North Cotabato on May 29, Provincial Assistant Election Officer Joel Celis said in Kidapawan City.
