7 senators, attend their last.

It’s goodbye for seven senators who are attending their last three session days of the 13th Congress.

Franklin Drilon, Sergio Osmeña III, Ramon Magsaysay Jr. and Juan Flavier finished their two terms while Luisa Ejercito opted not to run last elections. Ralph Recto lost in his re-election bid and Alfredo Lim won as Manila mayor. Lim, for his part, said he would be back home, too, in Manila, and warned lawbreakers to "cooperate or evaporate." Lim, known as dirty Harry, will rid of Manila's dirty crooks.

They have served well and doesn't want to put more dirt in their name. being a public official like them is not easy with all the stuffs going on around and the risk of putting dirt in their names.

"The results of the elections last May 14 displayed the growing maturity and wisdom of the Filipino as a voter. Our people, well-informed and discerning, decided to send a very strong message to the administration that said, ‘we have had enough, it is time for serious reforms. We want people who can deliver’," he said in a speech.

"We must be ever more vigilant to put a stop to the systematic looting of the treasury. We cannot allow our already overburdened taxpayers to suffer due to the greed of those in power," Magsaysay said.

"They must be put under the glare of transparency and public ridicule and they must be held accountable. We cannot continue to have a government of passive and unresponsive bureaucrats," he added.
