CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga: The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has approved the revision and recount of the votes cast in this provinces 4,847 precincts during the last elections.
The recount was approved by the second division of the Comelec on August 1 in connection with the election protest filed by senior provincial board member Lilia G. Pineda against Gov. Eddie Panlilio who appeared to have won by a margin of 1,147 votes in the May 14 elections.
Panlilios legal counsel, Romulo Macalintal, has condemned the apparent haste and lack of due process of the poll body.

Will it still matter?? I dont think so.why are they making a big deal ou tof it? it doesn't even matter anymore. why not put their efforts in other things? thats why we are not moving forward. we stay put in some things so long that everything gets delayed.
