Three reporters and the lawyer of Senate witness Rodolfo Noel “Jun” Lozada Jr. lost their cellular phones during a candle-lighting ceremony for Lozada in Tondo, Manila Thursday night.

GMA-7 reporter Michael Fajatin said he lost his phone while covering the ceremony at Sto. Niño Church in Moriones, Tondo. Dennis Datu of radio dzMM and Joey Villarama of ABS-CBN News also lost their cellular phones while covering the event.

Even Lozada’s lawyer, Reynaldo Prinsesa, lost his cellular phone.

Philippine News

The increasing crime rate here in the Philippines specially in NCR is alarming. Stick-ups, Robbery, Kidnapping, Theft, Snatching, and Pickpockets.

Even media men and lawyers are not safe. Those criminals have been well trained to be professionals. So, where ever you are, you must be cautious of your surroundings. I would like to stress the following places/situations where you should be extra careful.

Anywhere in Manila City specially Tondo area and those nearby places. Any place where there are squatters area near by and LRT / MRT stations/ Bus Terminals. last but not the least, crowded places where events take place (Rallies, Public Shows and the likes.)

This is where they get you. When you are concentrating on other things and not fully aware of whats happening.
