Cruise Ship in the Philippines - 7107 island cruise

A new cruise line, a local one, is now open to serve and sail away!

The route, Coron- Puerto Galera-Boracay would cost around 5,500 per night per person and this already includes meals and the usage of amenities on board. Owned by businessman Esteban c. Tajanlangit, Sr, the ship can accomodate over 400 guests with 137 rooms available.

Although, at that rate of 5,500 per person per night, it would really be expensive as a family of 4 would amount to around 110,000 pesos.

Most of the time would be spent in the ship. Although this is a marvelous step for the improvement of the economy of the Philippines, I would say that this is a tad bit expensive from my experience in cruising with different international cruise lines.

I saw a video and photo of the said cruise and sad to say, I wasn't impressed. It was small of course, compared to the cruises owned by Royal Caribbean and Star Cruises.

Still, congratulations in launching a cruise ship in the Philippines!

By the way, FYI, Star Cruises offered to stop in the Philippines way back but sadly, Philippines asked for a huge amount of money, which would of course, turn off star cruises. bad decision for the government, one. Improvement of our economy, zero.
