Every week, oil prices increases. We hear never ending problems in our economy and sadly, the government focuses on other things. We all know that the government can help absorb some of the expenses in gas prices like removing tariff's from it but again, the government is too greedy.
We all know ways to save money but, it just stays there as our knowledge. What we need is to apply it. Here are some simple and effortless ways to apply to fight the rising prices of everything.
1. Transportation
- Commute is the best way
- Car pool is the next best thing
- When driving, do not use gas guzzlers like Expeditions, Navigators and other car that consumes 7km per liter or below. Get a car like the Isuzu Dmax or Alterra. (Looks nice too, check out their 360 degrees view)
- DO NOT let your RPM exceed 2
2. Electricity
- Turn off unused electricity (Easier known than done. Apply this for it to work!)
- Do not leave computer monitors plugged. It consumes electricity too.
- Even if it's hot, limit A/C usage
3. Water
- Turn off water during intermissions! (Applying shampoo, soap or brushing teeth)
- Wash clothes on scheduled times. Avoid using washing machines. (Water-waster and shirt destroyer)
4. Money and Food
- Know what you are going into before investing!
- Grab price slash opportunities for BASIC commodities.
- Eat at restaurants with promos (Like Italiannis, they give free dishes!) Better yet, cook your own food using these Filipino home made recipes!
- DO NOT go to the grocery when hungry. Just believe me! That is the purpose of food courts in front of grocery and supermarkets.
Easy tips right? Unless you apply it, it won't help you.
