Cesca Wine Cafe at Il Terrazzo in Tomas Morato

===UPDATE===
This restaurant is already closed.

If you think that going to Makati or Serendra is a must for your upscale socializing needs.. you must know that Tomas Morato has something new to offer!

I've been to Il Terrazzo mall several times before and I never braved going in Cesca Wine Cafe because this is how elegant it looks...

Well, I finally had the chance and went in to try it out. Upon going in, there were far more intimidating things that greeted us that screams "Warning, warning! This resto is expensive!"

The finer things in life -- Noritake Silverwares

But, friendly waiter staffs greeted and made us feel at home. Upon sitting down, we were given the menu and some bread, butter and water. I was surprised by the price of the food!

The last but not the least.... their Blueberry Cheesecake is to die for. I can testify that this is the best cheesecake yet in Metro Manila. Don't leave Cesca without trying this dessert!

We had a great long lunch that time and I can't wait to go back there again! See? The prices are really affordable. It's actually so affordable that other restaurants you go to are even more expensive.

Wow! Looks like we're going to check this out one of these days. The price is great considering the photos.

I don't advice anyone to eat here. Yes, they have friendly waiters and a nice/cozy ambiance, but that's where all good things end. I mean get this, ALMOST HALF the dishes in their menu were our of stock and it wasn't even lunch time yet! We should've taken that as a sign to leave but we decided to take a chance and ordered their australian lamb chops and their meat(?) pizza. We requested that the lamb chops be cooked medium but it was served well-done. Given it was lamb, the meat was surprisingly tough. The pizza was also a disaster! It was priced at Php305 but it looked a like canteen pizza (think Lotsapizza but worse). It was THE worst pizza I had. I mean how could anyone screw up pizza? The cheese wasn't fully melted, the pizza toppings would not latch on its crust, the pizza sauce tasted odd - everything was just off. In the end, we left disappointed. With what we've paid, we could've eaten in some other italian place with better food.

how is this fine dining? they only LOOK like it but their food is FAR AWAY from it. Don't let the good service deceive you. Doesn't anyone have standards anymore?
