I would like to start something called, "What can you buy with 1 million pesos?"
Let me contribute some of my ideas:
> According to ABS-CBN news last night, this can buy cup noodles and feed approximately 150,000 people.
> With 1 million pesos, you can let 10 in-need scholars study college and later on, let them work for the government to improve our country.
> With 1 million pesos, you can create a simple soup kitchen where people could line up everyday to ask for a little food. (Then eventually, people would donate to the soup kitchen so this could operate for a longer period of time.)
See the potential of that amount? Now imagine, a President of a 3rd world country, spending one million pesos on one dinner at Le Cirque. How selfish could she be?

1 Million Pesos = Approx. 7 1/2 years salary of a minimum wage worker
with 1 million, pesos, you can help 165 kids via World Vision for 1 year!!!!!!!
I'd like to see the ACTUAL bill first, not to mention proof of who paid for the thing. Sure, it's a staggering amount of money to spend on one meal, but restos like that do have menus without the price (for people who are getting treated out/dating) so IF it's true that PGMA and friends were getting treated, she may not be aware of the price tag.
We are fond of this "1 million can buy... etc etc etc." But if it wasn't public money, is it a problem?
IF, please take note. I prefer to form an opinion when I'm informed of all/most of the pertinent facts.

Instead of spending idle time on unsupported opinions, let's all focus on making our lives productive with a higher caliber of quality.
Also, our beloved Pilipinas will benefit from that, i betcha.
I was really shock to find out that the dinner President and her companions have eaten total to such huge amount. To think that in 1 million pesos it can accomplish a lot of things that can help this country a bit. If I were to have 1 mil pesos, all im thinking are these
In 1 million pesos, I can
1. donate these to the people who have suffered in the typhoons
2. donate books to public schools
3. donate to the kids who are suffering from serious ailments
Actually it is more on donating more than saving for yourself. Imagine how many people would have been happy. I hope the government officials will realize the value of having much yet knowing how to share.

Wherever the money came from, spending 1 million pesos is not right. Maski sarili mong pera yan.
Katiwala lang tayo ng mga pera natin nakukuha natin and your money is God's property.

Some people don't even have 1 million pesos sa bank accounts. It's a big amount of money for a 3rd world country.
Imagine, 7 and 1/2 years spent working just for one dinner?

1st. i will apply the law of tighting or the law of giving..20% of 1m will given to god or in he's people who needs help.
like orphanage,churches,poor family etc..
2nd. 40% will be save in bank
for emergency purpose. or educational plan for ur children.
3rd. 30% invest a small business.
make leverage when it grow, 2 gain passive income.
4th. 10% will be given 2 my self..
travel or tour with my family in boracay,subik and some other nice places in the phil..
