A month back when we visited Tempura for the nth time, we saw the signage of a new restaurant being installed. It's called Sentosa (part of the Tempura group of restaurants) and it's now open. From the name itself, you wouldn't need to ask me what food they serve.
I was a bit full but nevertheless ordered some of their best sellers so I can share with you guys what's good to try and what's not worth trying.
Appetizer - Peanuts (Free of charge)
Roti Canai / Php 110.00
Delicious! The dip was also superb!
Shanghai Style Siao Long Bao / Php 125.00 (5 pcs)
So-so. The best Xiao Long Bao for me is still the ones in Gloria Maris, specifically the branch in Wilson. Try that so you will know.
Bah Kuh Teh / Php 230.00
I didn't like it. Tasted bland.
Pineapple Fried Rice / Php 220.00
This is also a must order. Not that special but a good fried rice to try. This is good for 3-4 pax.
Sweet and Sour Pork / Php 240.00
One of the best Sweet and Sour pork I've ever tasted! Definitely a must-not-miss dish.
Singaporean Hainanese White Chicken / Php 410.00 (Half chicken)
Disregarding the price, it tastes good. But for 400+ pesos, this dish doesn't live up to its price.
Sauteed Brocolli with Scallop in XO Sauce / Php 240.00
Not bad for the price but nothing special. Tasted ordinary.
