Wolfram Alpha
Wolfram|Alpha is more than a search engine. It gives you access to the world's facts and data and calculates answers across a range of topics, including science, nutrition, history, geography, engineering, mathematics, linguistics, sports, finance, music. etc.Their goal is to make all systematic knowledge immediately computable and accessible to everyone.
It's not just searching like what you do in Google. This gives you more. Below is a sample search I did for 'Stroke'. Check out the information reverted to me...
Another search sample. Term searched was 'Melbourne Weather'
Roboform for iPhone (Also for iPad)
This is more than just a password keeper. It also helps you organize your secret data, fills forms, sync to other devices and more! Check out their website to know how Roboform works (Roboform Official Website)
Penultimate
This nifty application can be your trusty iPad notebook. I've tried other similar application that works like this but this is the only app that "feels right". Try it to know what I'm talking about.
The best-selling handwriting app for iPad. You'll get the fast, tactile gratification of writing on paper, with digital power and flexibility. Take notes, keep sketches, or share your next breakthrough idea -- in the office, on the go, or home on the sofa.
Calcbot
When I first downloaded this application, I was like, "what do I need another calculator application for?" I was wrong! This is the ONLY calculator you will ever need!
Every calculation you make will be saved on the tape (right side of the screen) and you can use the previous results in the tape for recomputations! You can also email the results. Cool, eh? It also has a scientific calculator option.
USB Disk
I took the liberty to screen capture the instructions on how to use the USB Disk application from the iPad (see below). Basically, using the iPad Camera connector USB kit, you can access the files inside your USB disk! That's what we wanted, right? Access your flashdisk via the iPad!
News Applications
Of course, what would could be more important than up-to-the-minute updates? There are a lot of free applications available in the AppStore. Just search for the keywords relating to the desired news that you would want to read. (Some news applications are getting their contents from other news websites via RSS feeds)
