3 weeks ago, they started in Davao and went to Cagayan De Oro, Bohol, Cebu, Iloilo, Mindoro, Batangas, Vigan and many more! Since then, they have endured various physical and mental challenges that have left them near exhaustion. Monica Torres, a seasoned triathlete said, "This is the first time that I’ve joined a month-long endurance challenge and it really is tough."
Fellow challenger Choc Martinez also said that this is one for the books, "I’ve participated in a number of endurance races here and abroad but nothing compares to this".
Final leg kicked off in San Juan beach in La Union for a surfing and paddling competition. Day 26 started with a road bike challenge in Pagudpod going to La Paz Dune for an exciting round of sand boarding! A run and another bike challenge capped the day.
On day 27, they ran and swam before they went to baguio, tackling a grueling uphill battle riding a bike and run challenge, towards the finish line in Burnham park. The score of the five challengers gained from the challenges since Day 1 will be computed to determine who will emerge as the top winner.
The ultimate MVP will get 500,000 pesos worth of cash then the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th places will get 250,000, 150,000, 100,000 and 50,000 pesos respectively. Results will be announced on April 26, 2011.
