Which Divoom Speaker is for You (Part 2)

In the first part, we featured 3 Divoom speakers equally awesome in their own rights -- The Divoom Divo, Divoom iTour-20 and the Divoom iTour-70. Below, you can read about the Divoom iTour Ozzo and the Divoom Iris-02. Also, I posted a photo wherein all the Divoom speakers are side-by-side each other. It's for you to see and compare the sizes as it might help you decide which one to get.

Divoom iTour Ozzo

Divoom iTour Ozzo

I know what your thinking. This one looks boxy. But you know what, there's more to this than just being boxy.

Although the sound quality isn't top notch compared to the iTour-70 and the Divo, this produces good enough sound for your gadgets on the go, specially your laptop because if you're looking for a portable, rechargeable laptop speakers, this is for you.

Look at the photo below and you'll realize it's not that boxy at all! Look ma, it separates! Perfect for your desktop or laptop!

A good decor and a functional piece of art.
It can be separated to be able to fully experience the richness of the sound
Cable management system to reduce the clutter

Driver: 2" full range driver x2
Total RMS Power: 5 watts RMS (2.5watts RMS x 2)

Pros:
Cable management system is great
Easy storage
Detaches easily from each other but when attached, it doesn't feel flimsy
Perfect for desktop or as laptop speakers because you can put one on the left and the right.

Cons:
Just an average sounding speaker based on my standards (remember, this is just my opinion and sound quality is very subjective)

Divoom Iris-02

Just like the Divoom iTour Ozzo, this is perfect for your desktop or laptop. Although it might look better than the Ozzo, the cables are permanently attached at the rear portion, making it hard to organize and store.

The black thing on the top is the volume control and power knob. In terms of sound quality, it's a bit better than the Ozzo but again, not as top notch as the iTour-70 and the Divo.

USB powered and can be recharged using your laptop.

Divoom Iris-02 Specifications:
Full range aluminum-cone speaker
USB powered
volume control and power on/off on top of your speaker
Magnetically shielded for use near video monitors
Dimensions: 69L x 85D x 65H (mm)
Driver: 2" Full range driver x2
total RMS power: 5 watts RMS (2.5watts RMS x2)
Total peak power: 10 watts
frequency response rate: 120Hz-20kHz
Signal to noise ratio: >70dB
Output Power: 5watts RMS

Pros:
Perfect for desktop or as laptop speakers because you can put one on the left and the right.

Cons:
Storage and cable management is a bit of a hassle compared to the other reviewed Divoom speakers
Sound quality is not top notch compared to the iTour-70 and the Divo
Worst packaging of all the reviewed Divoom speakers (Packaging refers to the box container and not the built of the speaker)

(L-R) iTour-20, Iris-02, Divo, Ozzo and the iTour-70
Basing it on the photos above, you can pretty much estimate the actual size of the speakers, basing it on the iPhone and the iTour-20. which is the smallest of them all. Also, in each Divoom speaker review, the size and dimensions are already written in case you will need the exact dimensions.

So, after reading all the short reviews, which would you like and why? Let me know in the comments section. Again, who knows, I might just grant your wish. Keep your fingers crossed.

I hope my review has been helpful in your decision making process.

Divoom speakers are available in various Apple resellers like Power Mac Center and iStudio.

Disclaimer: This is NOT a paid post. I wasn't paid a single centavo nor did I receive any kind of compensation, including Divoom items and such. They just sent me the speakers for review and will be returned as soon as I finish doing the blog review.

@Magz13,

Yes, this is definitely ideal for laptop users. You know what, I was shocked to know the actual price! It's less than 1,000 pesos! I was expecting such design and quality to go over the 1,200 peso-mark.
