I'm a fan of online shopping and one of the most convenient places to shop online when in the Philippines is Multiply. Unlike other sites, Multiply offers a wide range of payment options. You don't even need to go out of your room, literally.
Let me explain to you, using some of the screenshots I had on my latest purchase on what I meant.
How to buy stuff by just sitting in front of your computer in Multiply.com
1) Look for the item you want (take note that in some items, you have the option to choose color, size etc)
2) Click "Buy Now". After clicking, you will be redirected to your shopping cart. You now have the choice to continue shopping or check out. If you continue shopping, you can check out the items you bought all at the same time.
3) Review your order details. You can continue shopping or go pay. If you want to pay already, click "Proceed to Checkout".
4) You have the option to pay via bank deposit (BPI, BDO), Gcash, COD or Paypal. I find Paypal the most convenient because this payment option won't require you to go anywhere at all! If you choose Paypal as your payment option, you will be redirected to the Paypal website and you will be required to enter your username and password. After getting through the login section, you can review your payment again and you can even add notes for the seller to read. In my case, since I purchased a customized bag tag, I placed there in the notes section that I want the initials "WWJD" placed in my bag tag.
5) You will be redirected once again to the Multiply webpage and there, you can see your order number, summary and details of your order and about the merchant.
6) Wait for your order to arrive at your doorstep!
All those took me a little over 3 minutes to do. That's what I call shopping convenience!
If you're on the look out for some Christmas gifts for your friends and family, check out this techy Multiply shop-- http://gadgetempire.multiply.com
There, you can find portable power solutions, iPhone/iPad/MacBook cases, handsets from brands like Moshi Moshi, MiLi, Divoom, OPT and more!! Very interesting items not available in your local tech tiangge as all these items came from the exclusive distributor of their respective brands in the Philippines.
Another store I'd like to recommend is Prints by Amanda. They are very and flexible. They even agreed to my special request! For your bag tag needs, I recommend that you go to their store. It's as simple as clicking a few buttons and your bag tag will be delivered to you! Here's their shop URL: http://printsniamanda.multiply.com/
If you like other items, check out the Multiply Marketplace. There, you can find all the merchants and their respective items. To know more, read this FAQ. Read this if you'd like to advertise in Multiply.
Multiply has been improving their site heavily, both for the consumers and merchants and I must say that they are doing a good job. Not only are they providing a free service for both consumers and merchants, they are also helping the Philippines advance by training Filipinos to use e-commerce.
