NSO Document Delivery Procedure

Want your NSO documents delivered? Well, as people nowadays are very busy with their work, some barely have the time to do extracurricular stuffs which are sometimes necessary. In my case, I haven’t even had the time to get our NSO certified marriage certificate after we got married. Good thing that NSO has tied up with Teleserv, a call center here in the Philippines, to be able to cater to the needs of many busy people. The call center is open 24-hours, 7 days a week, so even if you come home at 12mn, you can still call to have your NSO Certified documents sent to your house. (In my case, we did call near 12mn)

Before calling the hotline, do make sure that you have your copy of your marriage certificate that was filed in the City Hall and at least 30 days has already passed after your marriage date (to make sure that National Statistics Office have received a copy of your marriage certificate).

Dial 7371111 and wait for an operator to assist you properly. You will be required to supply them the following:

1.       Registry Number – found on the upper right side of your marriage certificate
2.       Full Names of both husband and wife
3.       Date of Marriage
4.       Number of copies needed
5.       Delivery address and Contact number (telephone and cellphone)

Delivery handled by Air 21

Documents delivery will be handlled by Air21. I remembered the customer service representative mentioning that deliveries will be made within 2-3 days after payment has been received via their payment center. Documents are usually delivered between Monday-Saturday, 9am-7pm. So if you are not home often, it is better to have an authorization letter ready with original and photocopy of you and your representative’s ID as they don’t leave the documents to people who are not authorized to receive them. (My document was delivered around 6:50pm)

You are then requested to pay the amount due via any payment center. There are 3 ways were you could pay the amount due:

* Bayad Center
* Bancnet ATM
* Metrobank

In our case, we preferred to pay via any Metrobank branch. To be able to accomplish the form properly, you will be given a reference number and subscriber name (which is usually the name of the requesting party).  Please see photo below for proper filling-up of payment slip. Currently, the cost of the NSO Certified document is 350/pc/copy.

After paying ours last January 14, 2013, I received an sms message from Air 21 on January 16, 2013 saying that the documents will be sent that day. They also stressed the importance of having an authorized representative in case you will not personally receive the documents.

Inside, you will find an official receipt from NSO. The actual cost of an NSO Certified document is 140/pc/copy. You actually paid for an additional premium of 210.00 per copy. Personally, I think it’s worth it especially for people who are always occupied with so much work.
