What the Spinnr Experience is All About

http://i.imgur.com/nQBnVKu.png
There was this video that went viral recently showing a guy asking random people to drop 600 pesos in his box. If you were there, would you risk it? If you ask me, I would but not without reason. It's not everyday that you see someone asking for money, well dressed, and in the middle of the mall. Take note that if this weren't legit at all, the first ones to shoo the guy away would be the mall security. (Haven't seen it yet? Check out the video below)

Must Order dishes in Abe

There are a few authentic Filipino restaurants in the metro and Abe is one of them. I remember back then when they only have the branch at the Fort Serendra and going there wasn't very easy especially for us who lived on the northern part of Metro Manila. Good thing they expanded and opened a branch in TriNoMa where I could crave and eat Filipino dishes anytime I want.

Aside from the food, the ambiance of the restaurant is very cozy which makes you feel that you're at the comforts of your own home. Wait staff are very accommodating and attentive too which I think is one of the reasons diners keep on coming back. I must say, even my balik-bayan friends look forward to eating here whenever they come to Manila.

Most of their dishes are uniquely named so you could easily remember them. Here are a few of the must-try dishes that makes your Abe dining experience worthwhile.

1. Gising-gising is always on top of our list. The way they mixed it with coconut, shrimps and chili pepper makes it one-of-a-kind.

2. The Day After (Lechon Paksiw). Funny how they named this dish but it is prepared on the day you order it. Mixture of sauce is very good and the meat portions used are very tender.

3. Pastel de Lengua is perfect for those who love ox tongue! The meat is very tender and the pie/crust that covers the dish is yummy.

4. Binukadkad na Pla-pla may seem very ordinary but combining it with their home-made dip makes the difference.

They serve unlimited white rice billed on a per person basis although garlic rice is also suggested to match the Filipino dishes that you will be ordering. Abe is definitely a must-go restaurant especially for those who crave for good quality "Lutong-Bahay" dish that's worth every penny.

Currently, Abe has 4 branches:
TriNoMa, Serendra, Mall of Asia and Alabang Town Center
