Attention Grabbing Chicken Charlie Ads!

I was just in Greenhills Shopping Center recently and I saw these ads by Chicken Charlie. They sure are attention grabbing! Nice one!

Good news for south-siders! Chicken Charlie is opening a new branch in BF Homes Paranque, Presidents Ave. (List of Chicken Charlie Branches)

I don't think they wanted to bash other brands. What I remember from these are the spoofs shirts available in the malls. What do you think of the ads? Let us know your comments.

Upon checking, ads are made by Toilet Use Only. Saw the ads on their Toilet Use Only and Chicken Charlie's Facebook site, posted by TUO. Add them up: http://www.facebook.com/chickencharliephilippines

Churchill Island Heritage Farm - Phillip Island, VIC Australia

This was our first destination. Well, it became our first destination because we were late for our first activity, which was supposed to be the Seal Rock Cruise. Good thing that the Seal Rock Cruise staff allowed us to move the booking to the next day. This is why I mentioned in 1 of the 15 trip planning tips that you should avoid making schedules close to your arrival flight.

From Tullamarine Airport, Melbourne Airport, Victoria to Churchill Island, Victoria

Because it was my first time driving here, it took us 30 minutes longer. We left Tullamarine Airport in Melbourne around 12noon and reached Churchill around 2:30pm. Drove a total of 150++ kilometers.

87kms left! Wohoo!

For soon to be parents out there, this site is a must read!

Az and Lace, some reading for you guys since parents na kayo next year :p

This is the best site I found that has all the information you guys would be needing. It's so complete that when I made 3 surveys in different forums on what baby sites do they read, almost all of them said that they are reading Baby Center.

Here are some of the shortcut links from that site:
  • Getting pregnant
  • Pregnancy
  • Baby (Birth - 12 months)
  • Toddler (12-36 months)
" width="512" height="73">
What's great is, that website is already localized!

Anyway, congrats to both of you! Happy parenting soon! :P

Cruise Ship in the Philippines - 7107 island cruise

A new cruise line, a local one, is now open to serve and sail away!

The route, Coron- Puerto Galera-Boracay would cost around 5,500 per night per person and this already includes meals and the usage of amenities on board. Owned by businessman Esteban c. Tajanlangit, Sr, the ship can accomodate over 400 guests with 137 rooms available.

Although, at that rate of 5,500 per person per night, it would really be expensive as a family of 4 would amount to around 110,000 pesos.

Most of the time would be spent in the ship. Although this is a marvelous step for the improvement of the economy of the Philippines, I would say that this is a tad bit expensive from my experience in cruising with different international cruise lines.

I saw a video and photo of the said cruise and sad to say, I wasn't impressed. It was small of course, compared to the cruises owned by Royal Caribbean and Star Cruises.

Still, congratulations in launching a cruise ship in the Philippines!

By the way, FYI, Star Cruises offered to stop in the Philippines way back but sadly, Philippines asked for a huge amount of money, which would of course, turn off star cruises. bad decision for the government, one. Improvement of our economy, zero.

Tips on how to attract NEW visitors to your website/blog site

Tips on how to attract NEW visitors to your website/blog site.

1. Catchy Title/Website Design/Blog Design

First impressions, last. From the first click of your viewer, grab all the attention you can because after a few seconds of not interesting the viewers fancy, the viewer will navigate out of your page. The title should be such that it must compel the reader to stop for a moment and have a quick glance at your article. If you can succeed and you must, then the major part of your battle is over.

2. Juicy Content:

Now that the title has played its role it is the content that has to retain the attention of the reader. While writing articles the title should not by any means...
