Penguin Parade Ultimate Tour - Phillip Island, VIC Australia

Just 1.6kms away from the Nobbies Center, Phillip Island Nature Park is where we will watch the world renowned Penguin Parade.
The Penguin Parade is Australia’s most popular wildlife attraction and home to the largest Little Penguin colony in the world.
Every sunset, the hundreds to over a thousand wild Little Penguins emerge from the sea and march across the beach to their sand dune burrows.
The Little Penguin is the world’s smallest (and cutest) penguin and the Penguin Parade is the best place to experience this completely natural phenomenon.
Saw this sign in the parking area of the park

Signed some forms for the Ultimate Tour and grabbed a bite before our Penguin Parade.

Expensive but good fast food inside the Phillip Island Nature Park

Some forms we have to sign before joining the Ultimate Penguin tour.

Visited a small penguin exhibit near the entrance. They have actual "live" penguins which I had a hard time figuring if they were real or not.

Penguin Parade Ultimate Tour IDs!

A decade ago, I also went here but this time around, we will all be taking the Ultimate Tour!

Ultimate Penguin Tour is only limited to a small group of 10, this exclusive, advanced accredited eco tour takes visitors to a secluded beach to view little penguins waddling ashore to their sand dune burrows.

The beach is in a completely different location to the Penguin Parade. An intimate wildlife experience like no other!
-Full ranger briefing and commentary through headsets.
-Use of high-tech night vision 'nightscopes' to “spy” on penguins in the dark.
-Includes entry into the visitor centre and a free drink.
-No children under 16 years permitted.

If you are interested, check out the available tours: Phillip Island Penguin Parade Tickets

Take note though that you are not allowed to take photos.
It is for this reason that no outdoor photography and filming at the Penguin Parade is allowed - even without the use of a flash.  The Little Penguins are wild creatures and studies have shown that photography disturbs and frightens them. Please respect this rule and help us protect the Little Penguins and their colony.
Upon searching Youtube, I saw some videos of the Penguin Parade (General Admission area, I think):

All revenue generated from the Penguin Parade re-invested into research, environment and education projects to protect the Little Penguins.
