First, what is a ZAP?
It's a rewards program that let's you earn 5%-20% cashback called ZAP points whenever you purchase from participating ZAP merchants. The earned points can then be used as payment!
What is ZAPtag?
It's the card issued by ZAP for merchants to easily identify ZAP users. Each tag has a unique number that will be needed to earn rewards. Getting a ZAPtag costs P100 pesos but Smart subscribers get FREE ZAPtag! FREE!
What is Smart ZAPtag?
It's a custom ZAP tag made specially for Smart! Again, you can get this for free if you are a Smart subscriber! To get yours, simply text "COUPON 524" to 9800 to get a FREE Smart-ZAPtag
You can also convert your Smart rewards points to ZAP points!
What is Smart rewards?
It's a loyalty program from Smart. To get Smart rewards, simply text "Rewards" to 9800. To earn Smart rewards, it's P1.00 = 5 points! (Smart Postpaid). For instance, if your previous bill for the past 6 months is P2,500, (2500 x 6) you'll get 15,000 which in turn converts to 75,000 Smart reward points! To convert to ZAP points,
5000 Smart points to 20 ZAP points
12,000 Smart points to 50 ZAP points
25,000 Smart points to 100 ZAP points
To redeem, text "Redeem ZAP
1 ZAP point is to 1 Peso. As previously mentioned, ZAP points are earned when spending in participating merchants (list here). The number of points you will earn varies per establishment so better check out the list first.
