Maybe there is truth in the Maguindanao vote buying

Sen. Ping Lacson revealed at a roundtable with The Manila Times editors, columnists and reporters that somebody from Maguindanao had approached him and asked for P4 million so he could score impressively in the province.

And how would he rate in the province if he gave P4 million?

You will be Number 14 in the province, was the reply.

Why Number 14? Lacson asked.

Because the higher rankings were already filled up! the man from Maguindanao said.

He said it indicated that those who would be in the first 13 positions would pay more than P4 million.

Lacson said he told the election operator that it was against his principle to buy votes.

Id rather get zero than buy votes! he said.

Lacson did get zero in Maguindanao, which voted 12-0 for Team Unity.

I think that there might be some truth here. Lacson would just not say anything to increase his publicity because he already won. Also, I have a doubt about the Maguindanao elections. If I were to be followed, I suggest that, they dont count those elections return from there.
