3 top government officials fired, 1 suspended by Malacanang

The Office of the President ordered Regional Director Nasser M. Musali of the Department of Agrarian Reform in Central Mindanao suspended for six months without pay. The Office of the President reprimanded Chairperson Leonor Tripon-Rosero of the Professional Regulation Commission and Chairperson Lourdes Aniceto of the PRC’s Board of Criminology for failure to answer on time questions from the public.
The PAGC said Dumpit and Jamora failed to exercise diligence as officers of LWUA, and thus were found guilty of Dishonesty and violating Section 3 (e), (g) and (i) of RA 3019 otherwise known as the Antigraft and Corrupt Practices Act.

The Office of the President said Hondrade advanced P1.5 billion to the contractors as cost of the rehabilitation of the Umiray-Angat Transabangan Project (UATP) without complying with law requirements; rented private helicopters without undergoing public bidding; and failed to furnish COA with documents supporting these expenses.

Hondrade was found guilty of grave misconduct, conduct grossly prejudicial to the best interest of the service and of violating Section 3(e) of RA 3019.

Musali was suspended for not declaring in his Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net worth (SALN) ownership of a residential lot in Davao City.
