If you believe in signs, yesterday's Edsa Revolution Celebration will send a good or a bad message. During the flag-raising ceremonies, while de Castro and former president Fidel Ramos were pulling the rope to raise the flag, it suddenly got stuck. The national anthem finished playing, but the rope was still stuck. This led Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief Gen. Hermogenes Esperon to transfer the flag to another flagpole to finish the ceremony. "Parang ano'y, hindi maganda no, at ah umipit…(It doesn't seem to look good, it got caught)," Fernando said. Strike Two: the program winded down with singer Renz Verano's rendition of "Bayan Ko," the accompanying music suddenly went silent. The singer then finished the song a capella, with the other dignitaries seated onstage providing the back-up. Strike Three:
It also can be a setup by anti-Arroyo forces. or, again, just a sign.
Are these signs that the current Philippine Presidents should step down? or are these mere coincidences?
as everyone knows, Strike Three... Yeeeeeeeeeer Out!
Strike One:
confetti fell from a helicopter while still inside unopened plastic bags.
This led Fernando to quip, "Ito namang ating selebrasyon ng EDSA, taon-taon, eh talagang palaging medyo may konting glitch, mga pumapalpak ng konti."
