To join, contestants must visit the promotional website www.VaselineRoadtrip.com, register with their full names, e-mail addresses, contact numbers, and other pertinent details. They must then type in an answer to an open-ended question that may be answered by browsing the blogs of the three writers for information. They must then upload a photo of themselves ready to go on a roadtrip of a lifelime, and finally click on the “Submit” button to register their official entry.
There will be only ONE (1) question that will be on the website during the promotion duration.
A correct answer submitted by a contestant who is completely and correctly registered merits a chance to win the grand prize. Multiple entries do not correspond to multiple chances of winning; only a single entry is considered valid per registered user.
Promotion materials will be shown on the Internet as well as other media (including but not limited to 30-second spots on television) from May 17 until June 30, 2010, while submission of entries for the grand prize will be open from June 2 to 30, 2010.
The grand prize winner will be chosen via a panel of judges, composed of employees of Unilever Philippines and Media Contacts, Inc., and will be judged by the following criteria:
Content – 50%
Style – 50%
Judging period is from July 2 to 6, and the winner will be contacted via the contact details given. The winner will also be announced on the selected blogs and the promotion website on July 7, 2010.
The grand prize may be redeemed at any time between June 17 and October 31, 2010.
Terms and Conditions:
1. No purchase is required to join this promotion.
2. This promotion is open to all Filipino women residing in the Philippines, with the legal age of 18 years old and above. Underage winners must have valid parental consent.
3. Unclaimed prizes after the redemption period will be forfeited.
4. Identification of winners will be validated by an agency appointed by Unilever Philippines. Upon claiming of the prizes, winners must present the following:
a. Two (2) Valid ID with picture (e.g. driver's license, passport, company/school ID) bearing the same name and address that was used in registering for the promo.
5. Promotion winners should shoulder the cost of transportation to and from the venue of claiming the prize.
6. In case of disputes, the decision of Unilever Philippines is deemed final.
7. Unilever Philippines and Media Contacts employees and their relatives up to the 2nd degree of affinity and consanguinity are disqualified from joining the promo.
8. Unilever Philippines reserves the right, at its discretion, to publish and/or broadcast any winner’s name, address, photo and its likeness, for advertising and publicity purposes, without further compensation to the winner.
