Nak Muay Thai Cuisine

http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/5782/nakee.jpg
Thai food has been close to my heart ever since I was a little kid. It was when I first learned how to eat spicy food as I had no choice when our family went there for a trip. Almost everything served to us was spicy. After that, I learned to appreciate spicy foods. In fact, I don't even feel the spiciness much anymore since I love it.

Specialty restaurants have been popping around town lately and Thai food is not an exception. A few years back, I attempted to open an Asian Cuisine type of fastfood but sadly, I wasn't experienced enough in the food industry. I am just an expert on eating, period. How can I not be an expert in eating out? I eat out an average of 5 to 8 times a week! (Photos of the Nak Muay Restaurant Interior, Exterior and Food Inside)

Located at a quaint alley in front of ABS-CBN along Mother Ignacia Street, Nak Muay boasts of authentic Thai cuisine. Some of the dishes I've tried there was the Pad Thai, Kamo Thai (Yes, this is kamote dessert), Bagoong rice, Spicy Scallops, Thai Milk Tea and more!

I first tried the Pad Thai. I find the soup "loaded" as every sip I take, there were something in it. Herbs, noodles, etc. Taste was good as it felt like drinking a clear and refreshing soup.Of  course, I haven't forgotten to try my usual favorite -- the Bagoong rice. It was actually delicious since they used original Thai shrimp paste instead of the usual barrio fiesta shrimp paste which other restaurant uses.

Fillet type, marinated chicken wrapped in Pandan leaves was superb! Pandan Chicken is a must order in Nak Muay. I find nothing very special with their spicy scallops but, I like it too because it was soft. :)

For my drink, their iced Thai Milk tea is also a must order. A lot of people, including me are requesting them to have a bottomless variant of it.

For the finale, I ate the Kamo Thai Dessert. It was supposed to be frozen but I ate it as is. I like the munggo like feel it has. At first, I thought it was ube because of the color but after asking, they told me it was actually Kamote.

Don't let your curiosity haunt you. Go ahead and try Nak Muay Thai Restaurant!

I think you mixed phad thai with tom yam. Phad thai is stirred fried noodles while tom yam is a spicy soup
