Other than the fad of Asian Chain restaurants opening around Metro Manila like Lugang Cafe and Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao, there's also a fad of diners. I haven't tried the one in Eastwood and Tomas Morato.
Last Sunday, we chanced upon a new diner in the 2nd floor of Il Terrazzo mall (Tomas Morato). It has a rather simple facade - not amusing.nor over decorated. Simple and straight to the point - a diner. Coca-Cola inspired diner.

Upon looking inside, you will see that it's filled with Coke memorabilia - A Coke collector's dream!
A cool, slim Coke Zero drink chiller to the left
Lacks the "diner" ambiance but surely fulfills a Coke lovers' feeling.

Wasn't able to try it. My dad had it and according to him, it was, well, creamy.
I ordered this one. Since it was marinated and Sarsi was a part of it. it has a hint of sweetness and I liked it. Best dish we ordered for that meal. A must order!
The sauce on the ribs was great. According to the menu, the sauce is infused with Coca Cola. It looked kind of dark and wasn't tender. I had a little chat with the owner and he told me that this was their "2nd option" rib supplier since the "1st option" will be available in the coming weeks. I will surely be back to try this out again.
I also liked this but honestly, nothing special. If you want to get your fix of mash potato, you should order this.
I liked the rice and the chicken sauce. For the chicken, maybe we should have requested for another part. The breast part was too dry for me.

Conclusion
With less than a month since it opened (October 26, 2010), the service and food is quite good already but could use some improvement. Get the Sarsi Fish and Chips!!! For the service, servers aren't that attentive or maybe they were just overwhelmed with the guest that night. As I said, they just opened. Give them time. Price is very affordable unlike most of the restaurants in Il Terrazzo. For me, I like this restaurant and will definitely be back to try out more dishes!
Soon, they will also be selling Coke memorabilia merchandise.Grand launch according to their servers will be on the first week of December.

I was at this diner last month and their food was great! the only dish I find very revolting was the sour ceasar's salad dont order this salad its just so bad and done in poor taste
