Top 3 things that I pondered upon throughout the year:
1. You wont feel Christmas/ Holidays as you get older
When I was still a student, school wasn't exactly my favorite. But whenever Christmas season arrives, students can fully enjoy it. (unless the final exams is scheduled on January.) By the time you start working, you first enjoy Christmas parties until you also get tired of them and eventually, get loads of overtime until you wont feel Christmas anymore.
Same thing goes when you have your own business. It might actually be even worse but the rewards are somewhat better. This year, it was as if the Christmas holidays happened on Dec 24, 25 and Dec 31 to Jan 1 only.
Let's face it. Christmas season is made for kids, Parents don't actually love it but seeing the smiles from their children makes all the spending worth it. But, it's not about feeling Christmas. Christmas is about God, not gifts nor parties. :)
2. Blessings are bountiful. You just need to count them
Humans are naturally like that. We see the negative more than the positive. We need to train our minds to see the brighter side of the world. Choose to look at the greener grass because the moon isn't bluer on the other end of the earth - it all depends on how you look at it.
There are multiple occasions where it seems like its already the end of the road. what we don't notice is, as hopeless as it seems, there's always a way out if you choose to see it in another perspective. Remember that your way is not always the best way but knowing where to look and what to look at makes all the difference.
3. Worrying about tomorrow
Cliche as it sounds, we have enough worries for today and tomorrow has worries of its own. There were times this year that i didn't even want to wake up! I wanted to skip that certain day and get it over with. But I realized that without those kind of days, we don't grow as a person. God won't give us problems that we can't handle.
Stay safe everyone! Just enjoy the photos and videos of some fireworks below :)
