AVT GPS Navigator (Free from BPI)

I can't stress enough how important having a map in your car is. I changed this statement when I bought my first GPS navigator for my car a year ago. Having a GPS is a must-have. It's even more important than your radio or your backseat driver :)

What a clever idea from the folks over at BPI! Aside from giving away this GPS, they also gave some insider secrets when availing an auto loan from them. Oh and also, it only takes 3 to 8 hours to know if you can or not avail of the BPI auto loan :)
The FREE GPS Real Thrills promo runs from February 14 to March 15, 2011 and is open to all clients who apply, get approved, and avail of a BPI Family Auto Loan; units must be delivered within February 14 to April 1, 2011. As a requirement, a minimum finance amount of Php700,000 and a term of not less than 36 months for brand new cars and for private use only.

Some tips when purchasing cars on auto loan in the Philippines:
1. It's faster to apply for a loan online
When you apply for an auto loan in your favorite car dealer, it'll pass several hands before reaching the bank, while applying online takes only a few clicks and submits it directly for review to the bank.

2. Applying online via the BPI auto loan online website gives you an advantage because you can compare cars head-to-head to help you decide on what you like to purchase

3. If you have been employed or in business for at least 2 years with a minimum gross monthly income of Php 40,000, you are qualified to apply for a BPI Direct Auto Loan.  (from their website)

4. They even have an online auto loan calculator - try it out!

Here's some of the features in the BPI Auto Loan website:

Check car specs, compare models and find the one that best suits you.

Compute your monthly payment using our online auto loan calculator.

I'll create a post and step-by-step instruction (with screen shots) soon on how to use the GPS navigator you got for free from BPI. I've been using that for a year already.
