Silverwater Resort, San Remo - Phillip Island, VIC Australia

This was our first lodging for the trip. A couple of minutes drive away from the world renowned Penguin Parade in Phillip Island, Silverwater Resort in San Remo, Phillip Island is one of the best stays I had in my entire life. The place was just awesome! Too bad we spent less than 8 hours here because of our jampacked schedule.

 We arrived late at night already. Around 10pm I think.That's me in the car and some are checking-in as seen in the photo.

Trip Advisor rating was #1 out of 3 hotels in San Remo.

We got the 3 Bedroom Apartment. This was taken the next morning already. Cool and windy! Also, there's a lot of parking slots, without extra charge. You can even park right in front of your apartment.

Master Bedroom

Washroom of the Master Bedroom - dual sink! Loo is in the right, covered by the wall.

Bathtub + Shower area (Left) -Master Bedroom

Another room...

The other room.

Common Washroom. Complete with everything you need!

Washing machine + Dryer cabinet

This is where we spent most of our time.. in the living room + breakfast area. This is our first night so we had a meeting and contributed to the common fund to be used for the entire trip.

Kitchen + breakfast table - I love the breakfast table! Also, there's an outdoor dining area too behind the glass door!

Our messy dining table where we dumped all our stuff and living room (left) = General meeting area

Flat screen TV in the living room

Electronic keycards to our apartment

Silverwater Resort Lobby

Bar area near the lobby

Some of them went swimming the next morning in the indoor heated pool which opened at 6am. I didn't go because I was happy to sleep in a bed after an overnight in the plane. Water heater was good and you can almost find everything that you need in the kitchen, including a barbecue pit right outside the balcony. It was clean and complete. No breakfast included though, that's why the night before, we went to a convenience store nearby to buy some breakfast.

Again, this is one of the best resorts I've stayed in so far.

I'm booked here. Saw your review in trip advisor. How was the food there?

@Angel,

Uhm.. I forgot how much we paid but I think it was more than 10k pesos for the 5 of us.

The max capacity of that cabin is 6pax so you can minimize your cost by maximizing your occupants. unfortunately, we lack 1. hehe

@Annie,

Thanks to the help of trip advisor too. It's where we check and decide which hotel to book. :)

@Onnyi,

Sorrryy.. we didn't eat any meals there. We only bought food from the convinience store nearby (2 minutes drive).
