Which Divoom Speaker is for You (Part 1)

Divoom has been focusing on making great audio products and at the same time, remaining very stylish. Divoom is now being sold worldwide in more than 40 countries. They believe that speakers shouldn't always be the boxy looking thing or neither should small speakers be an excuse to sound bad. All Divoom products are engineered in Singapore.

Divoom has a wide variety of speaker choices ranging from Multimedia speakers to lifestyle speakers to portable speakers. In this review, I will feature 5 of the speakers -- Divoom Divo, Divoom iTour70, Divoom Ozzo, Divoom iTour20 and the Divoom Iris-02 , all of which are available for purchase in the Philippine market.

If you can't decide which Divoom to get among the 5, I can help you decide by providing personal comments and of course, criticisms. Let me start by introducing to you the smallest (but loud), Divoom iTour-20.

They might be small but they pack quite a punch! These small yet loud speakers are capable of producing sounds of up to 2.8Watts!

The battery life is equally good. It can store up to 300MAH and since it's not a power-hog, you can play music with it for up to 8-hours!


Very portable and won't take up much space, this can produce a 360-degree sound field! Small but capable, huh?

Pros:
Can fit almost anywhere
Attractive colors
Can connect to other iTour-20 or to another speaker
Good battery life
360-degree sound field

Cons:
It barely passed my sound quality standards (remember, this is just my opinion and sound quality is very subjective) -- Comparing it to the Xmini line, this is at par with them. Yes, I also don't like how those speakers sound.

Talking about portability and sound quality, this is my favorite among all the Divoom speakers I tested in this blog post. Aside from giving you full and rich sounds, this portable, battery operated speaker is capable of delivering loud but full music clarity.

The design is also a head turner. I used this last weekend to play music in the outdoors and it didn't disappoint. Almost all our guests showed interest in the iTour-70 the most.

Again, this is what I recommend among all the other portable speakers written in this review.

Coolest design compared to other speakers in its' class (other brand)
Full and rich sound
Easy to understand controls
Either charge via USB or AC
Very stable -  Doesn't sway or easily move but very lightweight
Great for out of office presentations

Cons:
Nothing really, unless you don't like elongated speakers

Divoom Divo

Divoom Divo

Another head turner, the Divoom Divo isn't a portable speaker. It's more for your home or office speaker as this doesn't have a built-in rechargeable battery. Considering the size of it, it surely can deliver the quality of sound you are expecting. It has a built-in active subwoofer that makes your listening experience complete.

Movies, music or TV, the Divoom Divo can deliver full audio clarity with highs and lows. It's already magnetically shielded. I actually substituted this for my TV speakers and the TV viewing experience was awesome. Awesome graphics with pimped out sounds -- Awesome x3!

This is also a good conversation piece as people gets intrigued by the unique style. The touch volume control also adds a little sophistication to the device.

Modern looking, awesome sounding and a looker. Not your usual  boxy-type speaker! What more can you ask for? This is my favorite one when it comes to the non-portable speakers.
