Online Banking Convenience from BPI

One of the largest banks in the Philippines in terms of market capitalization and asset size is the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI). It has a lead position in intermediation capacity, corporate and consumer lending, remittances and electronic banking.

A couple of months back (Dec 17, 2010 to April 17, 2011), they had a promo wherein all BPI clients were able to join the promo if they participate by registering their accounts to BPI Express Online. Upon enrolling, it was an instant 10 electronic raffle tickets. Aside from that, they were able to earn more e-raffle tickets by paying bills online, reloading prepaid cell phone or broadband stick. The prizes? Twenty Php25,000 worth of shopping money, Five gadget combo (iPad and iPhone 4) and a Honda City! Wow!

Guess who won? Yes, I would love to have won that but the winner was Mr. Ian "Lucky" Avila. Kidding with the "Lucky" alias but, he really is lucky/ blessed. A corporate worker, he pays his bills using BPI 24/7 Express Online. According to him, the convenience it provides because it's hassle free gives him more time to spend on other things and it's 24/7.

Now, I want to enroll myself in BPI 24/7 Express Online because not only is this convenient online, but also convenient for mobile banking which includes BPI Express Online, Express Phone and Express Mobile. Aside from that, BPI boasts of more than 300 merchant partners.

And for Mr. Ian Avila? Well, he won through his bills payments and prepaid phone reloading transactions. I never knew paying bills can be that rewarding!
