Being in a marketing related industry, I get excited when I hear new ideas. Although the idea of mobile (literally mobile, as in car) advertising is not new, this myfreegas company has a unique approach of slamming brands in our faces -- stickering the cars' behind kind of advertising. It might or might not work because this depends on the person behind the wheel. For me, this will work because I love reading things around me and more so when it's traffic.
In the registration part, you'll be asked for your name, gender, civil status, address, city, contact details, occupation, industry, vehicle, make and model, color, plate number, mileage per month, monthly gas expense, # of owned cars, where you park (Garage or street) and lastly, which city you frequent.
Kind of long but it's easy to answer. Before registering, please make sure that to avail your Php 1,000 free gas, you need to travel at least 300kms for that particular month. In case you don't reach 300kms, you won't get the 1000 free gas voucher.
After registering, someone will call you and you will be instructed to go to the nearest Rapide shop and stick a vinyl (car-safe) sticker around 20 inches long and 3.5 inches high. If you are very particular on how your car looks, consider the size of this sticker.
Before having the sticker sticked, you need to bring the ff:
Original and a photocopy of your driver's license
Car registration and official receipt company/school ID
Any billing statement
They use it to verify stuff like your area of residence and work place.
Basing it from my own experience, a city car will get around 30kms a day. This kind of advertising will be very effective around 7am to 5pm when it's still bright. That is also the time when traffic very bad. When traffic is bad, the effectivity of this kind of advertising increases.
