koko denies. Counter-attacks.

OPPOSITION senatorial candidate Aquilino Koko Pimentel 3rd brushed aside Tuesday the call of two congressman urging his investigation by the Commission on Elections for allegedly trying to bribe an election supervisor of South Cotabato.

He said that he would not resort to vote shaving and vote padding since he is fighting against such scheme. He is in a tight race for the 12th Senate slot with Bukidnon Rep. Miguel Zubiri.

Pimentel countered that Radam is actually the respondent in 12 electoral sabotage cases that he had filed with the Comelec.

She systematically padded the votes of TU candidates including [Juan Miguel] Zubiri to the tune of 77,000 votes. My evidence against her is documentary. Her evidence against me is her word, he said.

Settle it in court if you want to, to prevent wrong accusations next time and to know who is really telling the truth. if that person really padded 77k votes to Zubiri, it would have an effect on his position because they are closely fighting for the 12th position. the only problem is, it would take months or maybe, years, to resolve that case the way our system here in the Philippines run.
