Where do our taxes go?

That I do not know. Even though we are paying a huge amount of money, I still do not see any improvement on the country. Every taxable business establishment pays the government 12% of their GROSS sales. Can you just imagine how those funds seem to have no effect on our community?

While people doing honest-to-goodness business suffer from the stiff tax fees, those who do illegal business enjoy their privilege of knowing someone in the government. They get away with it because in this world, specially in the Philippines, Money makes the world go around.
