Moshi Moshi Handset with Base - MM02 Review

I've spent a lot of money looking for the perfect solution to make mobile phone calls more comfortable. I've tried Bluetooth headsets (That makes you look like a cyborg), headset (That easily gets tangled up and keeps falling off my ears) and the traditional way of answering phone calls. Problem is, the heat your mobile phone produces can get very uncomfortable. Also, the clarity can be a little stressful to understand at times.

I found a great solution that addresses a wide variety of unspoken problems and it'll change the way you talk whether you use your cellphone to chat with your clients, office mates or business contacts. It's nothing revolutionary but it's something a lot of people might be wishing for unconsciously. It's a stlyish wired headset that looks like a handset and I am loving it!

The handset is very straight forward. You plug your phone to the Moshi Moshi unit and you're good to go! It has the 3.5mm jack and almost any phone with 3.5mm can use it. A more techinical term for the 3.5mm (1/8) would be "TRRS connector". Some phones like the iPhone and BlackBerry Curve / BlackBerry Bold 9780 doesn't need an adapter as personally tested because they are using the TRRS connector.  For the other units like my Dual-Sim Samsung which uses a flat USB-like connector, you'll need to have an adapter.

If you use mobile phone a lot chatting with friends, doing sales or business calls, please do yourself a favor and get one of the Moshi Moshi handsets. This is even better than a bluetooth headset as the microphone and speaker quality on this Moshi Moshi is top notch! Another advantage is, this won't require any batteries! As long as you take care of it, it will last you like... forever! So far, I've tried using it to do Facetime calls via the iPad and iPhone, Skype via laptop/ netbooks and ordinary but long phone calls using mobile phones. Get one and you'll thank me for making your life much easier.

The sleek and minimalist design is what made it blend in wherever I want to put it. I placed it on my office desk and it looked just as perfect as when I put it besides my bed. At the middle of the handset is a circular button that you can use to either hang-up or answer the call.

Other added benefits:
-You can be farther away from the radiation waves. Very minimal radiation as it may seem, prevention is better than cure.
-Use the handset between your head and shoulders like how people do it before. Takes some time to get used to if you are part of the younger group who grew up in the mobile phone age.
-More comfortable as the grip and handling is well made. Less hand fatigue. Easier to grasp.
-Because of the weighted base, your phone base won't be flying around when you accidentaly pull the corded cable. A thing that is common with the usual land phones.

Final note
Of course, using a headset is still different compared to using the Moshi Moshi handsets. When walking around, a headset might be more practical to use but there are disadvantages, of course. For everything else, I think the Moshi Moshi is a better option. If you are using a Moshi Moshi, let me know what you think of it in the comment section and since I own one, you ask me questions and I'll try to answer them for you.
