Our Kota Kinabalu trip was an unplanned one. I was supposed to go to India a year back but was cancelled for several reasons. This is the result of the re-booked tickets. We booked the flight prior to me leaving for Australia last March 2011 and since this KK trip is still 8 months away, we just left it that way without planning anything.
A month before the trip, we started to panic. We didn't have anything prepared. I did my usual cramming and thank God, everything was alright. Hotels, tours and activities -- All set! I want to share with you guys our 6-day itinerary. 6 days might seem too long but we wanted to make this one a vacation rather than a tour.. there's a huge difference running around and enjoying the place leisurely.

Day 1 - Welcome to Kota Kinabalu
1100am | Left Manila to DMIA
0430pm | Clark to Kota Kinabalu (AirAsia, 30 minutes delayed)
0800pm | Arrived KK
0900pm | Had Bah Kut Teh dinner around the corner
1000pm | Convenience Store / Back at the hotel

We're going to malaysia in march, any tips what to bring to get pass the airport officials? Hehe. I mean, in case they do random "check" and you got randomly picked, what travel docs shall you bring with you? Show money, etc?
