Dual Sim Comparison: Nokia x1-01 vs c2-00 vs Samsung e2152

Image from gev(dot)com
Compared to Nokia, Samsung was a late entrant when the mobile phone battle began early 2000. Nokia is known for their user friendly interface and was warmly accepted by Filipinos. Samsung on the other hand just gained popularity lately because of the android phenomenon.

Stats from Jim Ayson's Wordpress Blog
Being known as the text messaging capital of the world (and now, also the social networking capital of the world), Filipinos are known to send a lot of text messages. The mobile phone penetration is also high here although majority uses low end phones.

Can you imagine? Even people receiving below minimum wage here has a mobile phone. It's becoming their priority and surprising as it may sound, some skip meals just to buy load.

Fish & Co's Fish and Meat Meals | Plates of the Caribbean

If my memory serves me right, the Fish and Co concept came from Singapore and first thing that comes into our minds when you hear Fish & Co is of course, seafood! They have good seafood there! Since this is the Philippines and majority of us here are rice and meat eaters, they came out with their latest offerings -- Plates of the Caribbean!

KFC Tower Burger is BIG!

It's been months since I went to dine in KFC because we usually have it delivered their famous and our favorite bucket meal to us. What remained to be my favorite throughout the years is their coleslaw! Yum, right?

Before ordering our usual, I saw this attention-grabbing burger from a fellow customer. Ahh, so i figured that it was the burger they are calling KFC Tower Burger!

HTC Chacha Review - Ultimate Social Media Phone

It's not one of those phones that got me excited on the first look. It looks like a BlackBerry but in my opinion, this is BETTER than a BlackBerry -- Android OS, Qwerty keyboard, capacitive touchscreen, instant messaging functions, and for social media addicts, this phone has a dedicated Facebook button!

HTC Chacha Design

The HTC Chacha a.k.a. HTC A810e has a 2.6-inch 480 x 320 resolution capacitive touchscreen. Just below the screen is a set of touch-sensitive icons (Home - Menu - Back - Search).  The qwerty keyboard is easy and comfortable to type on for average sized hands but the "enter" and "delete" buttons needs a little bit of time to get used to. It also has a D-pad at the bottom right corner.

JUMP Experience Center - Mobile, Internet and Business Needs in 1 Hub

I was invited to attend the launch of JUMP the other day. The first JUMP center is located in the Cyberzone of SM Megamall.

So.. What is JUMP?
It's what they call an "experience" center. A lot of gadgets and technology now needs to be tried and seen first hand to fully experience and appreciate it. It's designed to cater to your tech cravings like the internet and mobile phone needs, as well as home and business solutions. It's just some of what Smart, PLDT, TV5 and Signal HD can offer.

Best Burger in Metro Manila? Boulevard Diner

I love burgers but I don't like burgers from fast food joints. Are you in search for the best burger in Manila? Me too.

From a burger joint in Banawe. Huge but burnt and bland.
Lately, I noticed that the places that serve burgers compete by size and not by quality. Take a famous burger diner here in Manila for example. Yes, their burgers are somewhat palatable and big but after eating there, I can assure myself that I'll also have a big headache after. Another example is a burger joint I tried a few months back located in Banawe, QC (Now closed). The burger was huge but the patty was dry, burnt and bland. To tell you the truth, I don't like huge burgers. What I like is scrumptious and appetizing burgers!

Saint's Alp Teahouse Milk Tea

After a tummy-filling dinner in Boulevard Diner, our friend told us that there was this new milk tea place along Katipunan and the concept/ franchise came from Hong Kong. Being milk tea addicts, we didn't even need a second to say yes to the offer of our friend to try the new milk tea place.
