Spinnr Hitlist Awards 2014

As we end the year with a bang, Spinnr also celebrated it with their media partners and "Hitlist" awardees as they host the 2014 Spinnr Hitlist Awards inside Metro Manila's biggest club yet, Valkyrie (The Palace).

Other than helping curb music piracy, Spinnr, Smart's homegrown music app, has also given users of the app chance to fly to live concerts and other meet and greet opportunities with local and foreign artists. As a thank you for all the artist who supported it, they hosted it to recognize the movers and shakers of the music industry.

According to Lucille Tang, Spinnr's product manager,
"The digital downloading and streaming of songs have taken up a part of the music loving market and it's growing. This is where the Spinnr Hitlist is coming from - to recognize the kind of music that the public thrives on getting via digital downloads and streaming."

Some of the awards include Spinnr song of the year, Spinnr album of the year, and even fans were given awards for having the most music downloaded, loyalty award, etc..

Here are the winners for the 2014 Spinnr Hitlist Awards:
Spinnr Song of the Year: All of Me by John Legend
Spinnr Album of the Year: Big Hero 6 OST
Spinnr Best Indie Artist: Julie Ann San Jose
Spinnr OPM Artist of 2014: Nikki Gil (Babalikan Mo Rin Ako)
