Robinsons Soundbites Food and Music Festival Year 2: Throwback

Rather than sell tickets to make their patrons enjoy good music, Robinsons Malls hosts an event that hopefully will happen annually -- Soundbites Food and Music Festival. This is the second year they had this. Last year, I was also present and the first of a series of mini concerts was also held in Robinsons Magnolia.

If you ask me, this year was better. Last year was okay but since I needed to leave earlier, I didn't get to fully enjoy it. The food and music festival this year hit the spot and everything was perfect and just right. Below is a photo of the Soundbites last year:

The venue was comfortable enough but last year, it rained prior to the event. That made it very humid. This year, weather forecast said that there's a chance it will rain so they moved the event to the main atrium of Robinson's Magnolia (see below).

Weather-wise, no rain can stop it now and it was cool enough because it was held indoor. For traditional and online media, food was also provided in the VIP section near the entrance. It was also better compared to last year. Akira prepared the buffet spread this year.

We were served Japanese food like sushis, japanese fried rice, beef, chicken teriyaki and desserts! Everything was delicious. I'll make sure to try out Akira the next time I visit Robinsons Magnolia. I also saw a poster wherein it said that Akira has teppanyaki-all-you-can for P599. That, I will try and also write about.

After dinner, we watched the mini concert wherein South Border and Luke Mejares performed. Truly, the songs played were worthy of the Throwback title, based on their theme this year. It was also nice to watch front of house.

Front and center!
For those interested to watch these series of mini concert, simply spend P500 from one of the participating stores during the promo period. Check out the schedule below and the bands performing:
