Coca Cola and the Happiness Experience with Coke Mismo 300ml

I can easily associate Coca Cola to happiness not just because it is this generations tagline "Open Happiness" but rather, because of their campaigns that really spreads happiness. From bringing over OFWs to be with their families on Christmas and having this roaming truck giving out random gifts to people. This time, they made a lot of teens happy by bringing over the cast of the hit TV show Glee namely Becca Tobin, Jacob Artist, Melissa Benoist and Dean Geyer for the launch of Coke's newest offering, Coke Mismo 300ml PET bottle.

Other than the Glee Hollywood stars, "Happiness Ambassadors" local famous stars like Joseph Marco, Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes and Enchong Dee joined them to simultaneously unveil the mystery crates on four different malls in the city -- TriNoma, Glorietta, Market Market and SM Masinag. The said mystery crates were already in place 72 hours before the launch day and time.

See? and all of that energy just before the actual launch! UE Pepsquad even danced to Psy's newest hit, Gentlemen. They were good but unfortunately, I wasn't able to document that dance number. On exactly 2pm, June 8 2013 until the countdown timer hit 00:00:00, all of them unveiled a vendo machine containing their newest offering, 300ml Coke Mismo! It was easy to hold and grip. I know because right after the launch, they announced that the vendo machine was giving away FREE Coke Mismo's! I lined up and this vendo machine coughed up TEN Coke Mismo bottles! 10 and I got to hold them all just using my hands and arms. 6 on the right and 3 on the left plus one on the middle!!! It randomly gave a number of bottle per person ranging from 1 to 10 and most got 2 or more.

Glee Cast and Happiness Ambassadors will Launch Mystery Crates

I just came from Siem Reap, Cambodia and I was surprised on how they have no malls there. The biggest grocery there was this:

The guide said that this was where most of the smaller stores and restaurants buy their stocks from. Imagine that!

In Manila, it's like almost each city has their own mall! Huge malls, community malls, super stores, grocery stores and even mini grocery stores! The one I photographed above is considered a mini grocery when placed in Manila.

Malls in Manila now has to create extra efforts to calling the attention of customers because of the huge selection of malls you can visit when in Manila. Take for example a new mall in Taguig. They even invited a Hollywood celebrity to join them in opening the mall. (But I still won't visit that mall because of their violations).

Now, there are red boxes with a timer in some malls. Not sure if this is another gimmick or a new promo to attract more customers but it sure looks intriguing enough that I will try my best to be there when the countdown will be finished.

I was informed that 4 Glee cast members, Becca Tobin, Melissa Benoist, Jacob Artist and Dean Geyer PLUS 4 "Happiness Ambassadors", Julia Montes, Joseph Marco, Enchong Dee and Kathryn Bernardo will be present to reveal the big surprise in the said malls where the red boxes are present (Trinoma, Market Market and Glorietta)

Coke Happiness Truck -- Spread Laughter and Happiness Everyday!

Yesterday, I saw a status posted by a friend and it made me laugh. I reposted it and a lot of people did too.

Today, my brother saw a video and it caught my attention. This was something cool done by Coca Cola here in the Philippines. A truck will go around with a button at the rear of it. For every push, a random gift item will appear in the vendo like hole at the rear of the truck.
