19th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta Information

Like the yearly pyrolympics show, this is one of the annual events that people look forward to. It's known to be a weekend for everything that flies! I remember going here a few years back and it was packed! Better go there early as a lot of people will surely be there as well.

Happening on February 12 to 15, 2015 at the Philippine Air Force ADAC Hangar in Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, 4 full days of flying activities await spectators. From aerobatic exhibitions to sky diving to para gliding and even aviation formation, it's something worth your time and travel.

Highlight of this event is of course, the hot air balloons. This year, a total of 32 hot air balloons coming from all over the world will be joining the 19th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. From the yearly seen Old MacDonald farm to the cute Maximus the Beagle dog, you won't run out of interesting things to see. They fly out early in the morning around 6am and pump the balloons up again late in the afternoon (around 5:45).

It won't be called a 'fiesta' if the mood on the ground would be boring. There are car drifting exhibitions, there's a flea market called "fly" market,  OPM bands playing, a mini zoo, and on the 3rd night (which is Valentines Day), a spectacular display of fireworks!

Entrance ticket is affordable at only P300 each. Ticket funds will go to PIHABF foundation scholarship fund granting scholarship to deserving underprivileged students pursuing a career in aviation. It's two birds in one stone! You enjoy and you help!

Tickets are available at Ticketnet outlets, the venue itself and the Fiesta's official website.

For more info, visit:
www.philballoonfest.net or its official Facebook page, at http://www.facebook.com/pihabf

Check out the schedule below for February 12, February 13, February 14, and February 15 of the 19th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta this 2015.

Passport Renewal Process in the Philippines - Step By Step Guide with Map inside DFA Aseana

Old Philippine Passports
Earlier today, I had my passport renewed. It's been awhile since I did this and the last time was still in the old DFA building along Roxas Boulevard. I didn't know what to expect and same with many people renewing their passports, they just ask the guards and go with the flow. Well, I'd like to give you an idea and a brief overview of what to expect, where to go and some basic information when renewing your passport here in Department of Foreign Affairs Aseana Building along Macapagal.

Twelve Apostles - Great Ocean Road Australia Attractions

Natural limestone cliffs thousands of years in the making
12 Apostles is part of the Port Campbell National Park and is the highlight of the Great Ocean Road for me. It is indeed one of the most amazing natural landscapes in the world. They are around 70 meters high each. Actually, people use the photos of the 12 apostles to represent the Great Ocean Road.

Lorne, Great Ocean Road - Australian Road Trip

A year in the making as you've read my intro post. This is one of the highlights of our Australia 2011 trip.Driving around the city, Melbourne in particular might be a challenge but driving along the Great Ocean Road is a different experience overall -- awesome experience, that is! If you have the chance to rent a top down sports car, do it!

Traversing along the famous Great Ocean Road
FYI: Drive on left in Australia
Our road trip started with a quick subway breakfast before we left our serviced apartment. We had to gas up along the highway because we were afraid that we couldn't push the van if we ran out of gas. It was also a great experience gassing up. Oh, they are called Petrol stations there by the way. Almost everything in the petrol station were self-service.

TrenZa Salon - first year anniversary! [Establishment Already Closed]

Update: Establishment Already Closed
TrenZa first year anniversary - rockstar party!  The image “http://images.alvinquachua.multiply.com/image/3/photos/118/500x500/37/trenza37.jpg?et=x%2CLxb3vobDCOEmM%2Cs3CvGA&nmid=119611332” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
My friend invited me over to the first year anniversary of their salon at TrenZa Tomas Morato in Quezon City. This wasn't my first time there as I had already got a haircut there before.

That time, the stylists didn't even know that I am a friend of the owner and that is the true test of the service that they provide. It's a must try because their stylist isn't just from anywhere, they know what they are doing!

Yesterday, I tried their hairspa! I admit, it is my first time to try it and I don't know if it's just a state of mind but, my hair feels great [ my hair has feelings :p ].

We were all treated like rockstars and divas! They gave us cool hats which I don't know what it's called, bling-bling necklaces and a take home GC for future use! Imagine that!

They are now offering a party package - in their salon! If you decide to hold such a party (and it's sure going to be a blast!) your guests can avail of the full nail care extravaganza with fun hair and body art booths! Of course, the digital nail art printer is also included to add fun and glamour to your guests!

Do not forget the foot spa buffet! With the wide variety of options you can have, your foot spa experience won't only be a special one but, you will also get a fun and personalized luxurios feeling.

I know for sure that they were not nice yesterday because of the event because I was there a couple of times before. The snack was delicious, and the Chicken lollipop deserves a two-thumbs up! Yummy! Leave a message to get the caterers number from me.

Anyway, I'm sure to go back there not because of the GC but because of the uncomparable service and rock star treatment their customers get!

For party reservations, just give them a ring at 494-6866 or (+63917)8465484

It's located at 233 Tomas Morato, Quezon City (Near ABS-CBN)
