The Samsung Galaxy S5 was announced February of 2014. It is such an amazing phone that even an Apple fanboy like me was wowed by it. I've had the chance to use a phone that runs on Android for several months but since it wasn't a Samsung, it was not that smooth. I would guess that if I were to use a Samsung, I'd feel the versatility of it. Admittedly, Android can do a lot more than what Apple can but Apple wins in terms of design and having a well developed OS. Still, I'd consider getting an Android specially if it's the Samsung Galaxy S5.
