Smart Load to Pay for Google Play Apps and In-App Purchases

If you're a Smart user whether prepaid or postpaid, you can pay for your Google Play purchases using your prepaid load or charged via your postpaid bill. That is what Smart and Google Play recently announced. Filipinos are used to using credit cards. Some are so used that they over use it and thus, end up hating credit cards or "drowned to debt".  While most have control, they are hesitant to use it online because of scammers and fraud.

With this latest partnership, Smart is bridging the gap and making digital contents easier to reach. Smart subscribers now need not worry about online fraud when purchasing Google Play apps. Also, you can enjoy a plethora of digital contents that Smart has also partnered with:

Buqo (Magazines and eBooks)
Blink (Movie and Live Sports)
Spinnr and Deezer (Music Streaming)
Gamex (Gaming Pins)
Google Play (Apps and In-App Purchases)

I'm such a fan of this kind of payment system that I have already blogged 5 out of 6 of the above mentioned Smart partners (mobile payment). You can click in each one to check out what the service/app does in more detail.

For their latest partnership, you can simply enable your Smart Prepaid or Postpaid as a payment option in the settings. You can enable password protection via Google Play store settings as well for added security.
