The sleep we had was one of the best in months! Having a baby at home who wakes up in different hours at night is not relaxing. Since we don't even get the chance to have dates during anymore, this mini vacation we are having is everything we have ever wanted-- just a quick getaway to get some peace and quiet. We started our day #2 around 630am. Instead of swimming, since the weather was perfect, we just took a stroll along the beach to take some photos and enjoy the scenery while there aren't much people yet. After enjoying our walk, our growling tummies were craving for some breakfast food. Relaxation Corner: Massage at Sofitel's Le Spa

My husband and I were blessed to have a free massage at Sofitel's Le Spa. Since we were attending a wedding on a Sunday, I decided to use the voucher on the same day. I called Le Spa 3 weeks ahead and booked a slot at 5:30 pm (a few hours before the reception.) Good thing that we were able to finalize our schedules early as upon checking, there is an ongoing deal with Le Spa online, hence it was fully booked weeks in advance.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the receptionist who double checked our reservations. We were then escorted separately to the locker rooms so we could leave our things behind and shower/have sauna before the massage proper. Tip: in order for you to fully enjoy the massage, you might want to come 20-30 minutes earlier for the sauna. You will be requested to change into their robes before proceeding to the second floor for the massage. We were assigned in The Harmonie Couple room and upon entrance, you can immediately feel the relaxing atmosphere as there were only dim lights. There was also a bathtub and a shower room. when the masseuse came, they connected an ipod to the speaker so we could have relaxing music.

We were actually discouraged to bring our cellphones for us to fully be detached from the outside and be relaxed even just for an hour. Since we were attending a wedding reception afterwards, husband and I opted for an oil-less massage. I must admit, I am really looking forward to this as I haven't done any massage after giving birth (aside from lactation massage haha!) I never really fall asleep during massage sessions but my husband (if am not mistaken) fell asleep a couple of times. It was the perfect relaxation treat for a couple with a hectic schedule and a "makulit" toddler! 

How I wish we could visit Le Spa often, too bad we live quite far from Pasay and going here would definitely take hours to come on a weekday. It was a good one hour signature massage and even though it was free, we were taken cared of very much by all the staff. Oh, and because I had to pump after massage, they were kind enough to let us extend our stay in the Harmonie Room! Le Spa definitely know how to take care of their clients! Will definitely come back here soon!

Too bad we weren't able to try their wall climbing as one of their requirements were closed shoes and all of us only brought slippers with us. Maybe on our next visit we could do this activity. Wall climbing is safe as there will be a guide who will be helping you out on your climb.

We weren't able to take a photo but there is a gym at the second floor of the sports center and it oversees these courts down below. What I loved about this place is the service that they offer to the guests as each one of us was given a towel each and glasses of water even though our badminton session was free of charge.

There are also outdoor activities that were available, too bad we weren't able to take photos but these activities include basketball courts, tennis court, golf, archery. You could also borrow mountain bikes so you could easily navigate your way to the different parts of the island without waiting for golf cars.
