Eurotrip 2015: Allure of the Seas Mediterranean Cruise Day 2 (Palma De Mallorca)

Read with silent "L", Palma de Mallorca is the largest city of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands in Spain. It's a separate island away from the famous city of Madrid and Barcelona. This makes it easily a favorite cruise stop as you'd have to make an extra effort just to go to this island when on a land tour. In this port of call, you'll be docked at the port and this means that you can go down directly to land without having to ride a tender boat. As a little added info, tender boats are used to ferry cruise passengers from the cruise to the port in places where the waters are shallow which prohibits cruise ships from entering or going near the port to dock.

Eurotrip 2015: Manila to Doha to Barcelona (Day 1)

This might be the first time I will be blogging an entire trip. I hope to make this as fun and informative so if ever you are planning to go to one of the destinations that will be mentioned, you'll have an idea of what to expect or maybe what to eat or see.

Day 1.

Long Hiatus Up! Europe Trip and Mediterranean Cruise Blogs soon!

After a long hiatus, I'm finally back and energized to blog! In the coming days, I'll be sharing about my recent Europe trip, where we went, what we did, and of course, what we ate! Barcelona was an awesome place to see and eat! It's a must-visit place when you are fond of art as it is home to Antoni Gaudi's masterpieces, including the Sagrada Familia. Other than that, he also has masterpieces scattered around the city including Casa Battlo, La Pedrera and an entire park (Park Guell) filled with his creations!

Balesin Island Club: Costa Del Sol (Photos)

Costa Del Sol is known as "Coast of the Sun". It's a region south of Spain, autonomous community of Andalusia.

Balesin Island Club brings the south of Spain to life with Costa del Sol village. A world-renowned tourist spot, the "Sun Coast”, was a series of quaint fishing villages. Regular habitués like Englishman George Langworthy, and Italian Carlota Alessandri Tettamanzy, saw its potential as a luxurious vacation destination. Now, it is where tycoons, aristocrats and film stars come to play and relax. Experience easy southern Spanish charm in our Costa del Sol-inspired villas, and frolic on the beautiful white sand beach fronting them.

The entrance to the village as seen below reminds me of the movies which features Spain. It usually houses gangs and goons but here, it's just nice and peaceful. Costa Del Sol in Balesin is nearly finished and we were lucky because the day we were there is the day they will have the soft opening inaugural dinner.

4th Pyromusical Competition 2013 - Photos, Schedule and Tips!

It's pyro time once again! It has been a tradition already and ever since it started, we haven't missed one year without watching at least one show. Not yet sure if I'll be able to watch this year's 4th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition but I hope I can.

Every year except for 1 year, it is usually held in SM Mall of Asia fronting the bay. Having tried different spots already, each spot has its own advantage and disadvantages but I prefer watching the pyro in the comfort of the 2nd floor mall area. Less distractions, less crowd compared to the ground level with a better view and protection from the weather elements.
